Estamos localizados no N\u00facleo de Manufatura Avan\u00e7ada (NUMA) do Departamento de Engenharia de Produ\u00e7\u00e3o da Escola de Engenharia de S\u00e3o Carlos. Somos um grupo de pesquisa reconhecido pela sua excel\u00eancia acad\u00eamica e pela sua relev\u00e2ncia para a sociedade. Somando as publica\u00e7\u00f5es dos tr\u00eas professores apenas em revistas cient\u00edficas, s\u00e3o mais de 200 publica\u00e7\u00f5es de sua forma\u00e7\u00e3o em 1997 at\u00e9 2023. Oliveira, ex-aluno do GEI2, ao corpo docente do departamento. O professor Oliveira refor\u00e7ou a iniciativa de reposicionamento do grupo, trazendo novas perspectivas e contribui\u00e7\u00f5es.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">Assim, a partir de abril de 2023, o GEI2 tornou-se o CEGIS, um grupo de pesquisa formalmente registrado da Universidade de S\u00e3o Paulo e no Conselho Nacional de Desenvolvimento Cient\u00edfico e Tecnol\u00f3gico (CNPq).<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-0ccdd86 elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"0ccdd86\" 1rem;\">O CEGIS continua no mesmo local do GEI2, isto \u00e9, no N\u00facleo de Manufatura Avan\u00e7ada (NUMA) do Departamento de Engenharia de Produ\u00e7\u00e3o da Escola de Engenharia de S\u00e3o Carlos (EESC).&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">As pesquisas do CEGIS s\u00e3o desenvolvidas em parceria com empresas, organiza\u00e7\u00f5es do terceiro setor e institui\u00e7\u00f5es de
